In Monstro Town, I speak with MONSTERMAMA as she reveals the "star" is upstairs. Mario discovers it isn't the kind of star he's looking for and then Monstermama comes up with a plan to get mario "UP" or rather over the cliffs. Not a problem for the Sky Troopa's!

We also run into an old comrad of his that defected from his troop, Goomba ran way. He sells a weapon that's useful too Bowser and some items. In addition, I open the door with the Shiny Stone acquired in Moleville after the events of Moleville. This door leads to an Optional Super Boss in Super Mario RPG. I intend to venture into the door likely after getting to a the next "town" to get better defensive equipment or before leaving Monstro Town but getting 100+ super jumps to get some get equipment for Mario. Super Suit, and Attack Scarf are nice items.

The Three Musty Fears play a "Find the Flag" game and if you win by finding all the flags, you are awarded the Ghost Medal accessory.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, often shortened and officially known in Japan as Super Mario RPG (スーパーマリオRPG, Sūpā Mario Ārupījī?) , is a hybrid adventure/console role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) and Nintendo. Nintendo first released the game on March 9, 1996 in Japan and on May 13, 1996 in North America. The game was released around twelve years later in Europe on Wii's Virtual Console on August 22, 2008, making it the biggest time difference between different regions in Nintendo's history. It came out on the North American Virtual Console on September 1, 2008. Super Mario RPG is the final Mario game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System video game console, as well as being one of the last games Square produced for Nintendo hardware until Chocobo Land: A Game of Dice in 2002. Square mainly developed the game, with direct guidance from producer Shigeru Miyamoto.
