Beschreibung:
Die Handlung wird fünf Jahre nach den Ereignissen von The Last of Us ansetzen, die Protagonisten Ellie und Joel haben in einer Siedlung in Jackson, Wyoming mittlerweile eine Heimat gefunden. Die Beziehung zwischen Ellie und Joel ist zu Beginn angespannt, da er „bereit ist, seine Beziehung zu Ellie zu opfern, kann er sie damit schützen“. Ihr neues Leben bietet ihr eine Chance, neue Verbindungen zu den Überlebenden der weltweiten Pandemie zu knüpfen. Diese treten in Konflikt mit Joels Überbehütung. Dina, eine ihrer Mitbewohnerinnen dort ist ihr besonders ans Herz gewachsen und die beiden freunden sich an und flirten miteinander. Nach einem schrecklichen Vorfall, der auch Dina betrifft, macht sich Ellie auf einen tödlichen Rachefeldzug. Und so weiter, aber noch mehr und es kommen mehr Spoiler...
