Dan and Samantha finish their inquiries with officer Quinlan and Barfellow at the police station, confirming the connection between the eerily similar experiences of George Portman and Emily Schumaker. Roy finishes his interview with George Portman, who relays the tale of his great uncle's diary and urges Roy to destroy the book, by whatever means necessary. They devise a plan to rid the world of the evil diary once and for all, heading home to prepare but when Dan goes looking for Samantha, she's disappeared into thin air...
