[3rd Strike] Is Hugo Even REMOTELY Viable Against Makoto?
In my opinion, for Hugo this is "at best" an even match with an advantage to Makoto. At the very worst I would say it's 6-4 Makoto. Crouching short for Hugo is very important for stopping her forward movement as her dash is super fast (12 frames). Hard reads are required on both sides, both up close and in footsies. Hammer Frenzy is probably the correct super in this match-up.
Interestingly, Makoto has the widest frame of time in between her wake-up and quick roll, so this allows for some unique setups that cover both options.
I strongly dislike the term viable, so I use it somewhat sarcastically... :D
