One night I decided to go on a mini grind and see how fast and soon I could max out the 8-digit score in Mean Bean Machine's endless mode. I eventually ended up with a sub-1 hour max just 2 level ticks above the maximum of 99, pacing for an actual maxout on level 98 or earlier! This kind of speedrun is so obscure and niche that the only other person to have a fully recorded and speedrun of a maxout would be Puyo2 score attack player Shiroma.
