[4K] Mass Effect Andromeda: PS4 Pro vs PS4/PC Comparison + Frame-Rate Test
CORRECTION 28/03/17: PS4 Pro uses a conventional form of checkerboarding, based on shots released by Bioware. This takes a 1600x1800 frame-buffer for most visual elements, before being resolved at 3200x1800 alongside temporal anti-aliasing. Below are developer slides showing the break-down of a typical render time per frame:

PS4 Pro owners are treated to a few cool extras with Mass Effect Andromeda. This includes a resolution boost to 1800p (via checkerboarding), higher quality ambient occlusion, the removal of screen-tear, and improved depth of field. Next to a PC running at a true native 4K, PS4 Pro's image quality holds up very well here - but it does miss out on the PC's max settings such as high quality tessellation. Dave explains all.
