In this video, I am going to share with you a list of five YouTube channels that you're probably not following in 2018 but you definitely need to be subscribed to and follow going into 2019.

About this time last year, I was blessed to be included and John Riggs' video featuring YouTube channels to watch in 2018. Those channels included:
Smash JT - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCih0X9u7oBsYQA_wys_XrZQ
Superhero Game Squad - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRwh3TVQszgmDK6UHzHNdQQ
Media Glitch - https://www.youtube.com/user/mediaglitchshow
KidShoryuken - https://www.youtube.com/user/KidShoryuken

I thought that that was an amazing idea at the time and I greatly appreciated John spreading the word about what I was doing. In a complete and total blatant rip-off, or as my appreciation for what John did for me and wanting to pay it forward, here is a list of five YouTubers that I currently watch and enjoy and I think you should be watching as well

Megadan29 -https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUjpPFNQLJG5N3YGhIUv7HA
Dan is an incredibly talented gamer, focusing mostly on the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Dan is the type of player that you can sit and watch and you will learn tips and tricks just by watching his playthroughs. Dan has a number of videos showing not only defeating a game but doing it in a no death run style. The one thing I will say about Dan is he lets the f-bombs fly in the regular, so just keep the kids away for now

Ecmyersvids - https://www.youtube.com/user/ecmyersvids
Eugene has a really cool approach to his channel. Primarily a steamer, Eugene is currently playing through his NES Catalog in alphabetical order. Some games he really gets into, others he points out how can they are. Eugene also supports the Homebrew community, often playing and featuring dinner of the most unique titles available.

Solid Nate - https://www.youtube.com/user/realworksuks
Nate is one of the most chill dudes on YouTube, with a focus on both Retro games.... And karaoke! Seriously, he live streams both! This tea drinking gaming savant rivals MegaDan29 in his raw talent and ability to No death run games of all genres, across multiple platforms. Nate is who I want to be when I grow up as a gamer.

JLuv81 -https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJakZE9mfOsZzmiO2Ewa7eQ
What can you say about the incomparable jail of 81? She's loud, she's obnoxious, she's opinionated, and she's a heck of a lot of fun! Jen does both live streams and produced videos, showing unboxings, visits to different conventions, hitting the Nintendo store in New York, and much much more. Jen is a big kid at heart, and it comes out in her excitement and enthusiasm for the entire Community. Much like myself, Jen was a child who primarily had Nintendo systems but in recent years has expanded out and enjoying the fruits that belong to the Sega Genesis as well. Just watch out, Jen might slap you if you ever see her at a convention!

Russ Lyman - https://www.youtube.com/user/RussLyman
Russ, whachou doing? Well, let's find out! Seriously, from the first time you see one of his videos that song will get stuck in your head, and that's not necessarily A bad thing. Russ is a very passionate gamer, I believe he actually owns a couple retail stores too. Russ is one of the most creative people I have ever met, not just from a filming and editing standpoint, but as far as crafting and custom work. his work on the custom NES that riff from the pixel game Squad purchased is amazing. He has a Super Mario kart car for crying out loud! he is amazingly talented, super fun, and one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
