Let's Play Megaman 3 GB: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOZ4JCaxxB8

1- Kirbys dreamland 2

The first game we’re looking at today is Kirby’s Dreamland 2. It takes everything that was great about the first game, and improves on it in every single way possible! For one thing, Kirby can now swallow enemies and take their abilities, something that wasn’t in the first dreamland. It’s a lot bigger than the first game too, and each world is split up into levels, much like Kirby’s adventure on the NES. As always in the series it has some great energetic music and wonderful graphics for the time!

New to this game, and something that’s only really been seen in one other Kirby game since, is the inclusion of several Animal buddies. Each one has their own unique abilities and depending on the ability that Kirby has when he meets then, they combine to provide even more ways of playing and puzzle solving!

2- Pocket Bomberman

Pocket Bomberman is a very interesting game! It’s a very unique entry in the Bomberman series, playing more like Mario Vs Donkey kong than an actual bomber man game. It is brilliant though! The goal of the game is simple, defeat all the enemies and get to the exit, the difference here is that you actually have to jump around and place bombs to solve puzzles and destroy all the enemies. The game still contains all the classic bomber man powers that you’d expect. It’s a really interesting game and one that’s stood the test of time! It’s great fun! And it also has a special Super Gameboy border and colour scheme for those of you who like to play your gameboy games on the TV!

3- Donkey Kong Land 2

Donkey Kong country 2 is one of my all time favourite games, and is always high up on a “Best SNES Games” or Best games of all time list. The gameboy also had it’s own line of Donkey kong games, closely following the SNES series, but at the same time being their own entries in the series. I’m showing Donkey Kong Land 2 here, but they are all worth a play if you can find hem! Just like the SNES version this one let’s you play as Diddy and Dixie Kong as you explore pirate ships and caves. It’s great fun and amazing to see just how much RARE managed to get out of the gameboy!

4- Rayman GBC

The gameboy colour version is really impressive with it’s big and clear sprites, the animations and atmosphere is incredible when you consider this is an 8-Bit machine! The game pays exactly as you’d expect, with Rayman’s signature punch move and hover intact.

A bit of fun trivia, this game was the first game that the Creator of Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle ever worked on at Ubisoft Milan! It’s fascinating to see where he got his start, and it’s a great game in it’s own right too! Definitely one to pick up if you’re looking for some more gameboy games!

5- Megaman V / Rockman World 5

The last game here, and by far the hardest to find and most expensive… cart only is over £1000… luckily the Japanese version is much cheaper!

This is a really interesting game in the Meagan series. Unlike the other Megaman games on the gameboy, which all have their stages taken from the NES games and remixed. This one includes all new robot masters and stages themes after the planets! The music is great and each level has it’s own colour scheme when played on the super gameboy.
