1This game is so underwhelming it makes me wish I'd tried Anthem. I don't understand what they're going for here. It feels like Gears of War or The Division in terms of the cover-shooter mechanics, but it's so easy you don't even have to use cover. The voice acting is lazy and the animations are wooden. The graphics are glitchy and uninspired, making the game look like a tech-demo for last year's Unreal Engine updates. I don't understand what happened to Square Enix in the last few years but they have consistently disappointed me with everything except FFXIV and Dragon Quest XI.
Anyway I didn't edit any part of this, see if you can watch the whole 5 minutes and form your own opinion. I've read there's a bit more to this demo than what I played but I just can't justify keeping this shit on my PC long enough to even see it. If you ever have to say "it gets good after (insert period of time)" then you're only fooling yourself in my opinion.
