60 Parsecs is a comical decision making game where you play as the leader of a group of survivors who have escaped the destruction of their space station. At the beginning, you have to grab the things you will need to survive, soup, equipment and expendable crew, and dive into an escape shuttle to flee the blast as your station is destroyed.

During your adventure, you will have to figure out how to ration, build and maintain equipment and make decisions which may either save or destroy you. 60 Parsecs has good writing, and I enjoyed a lot of the humour. It's moderately challenging, but even a noob like me can win it.

There are several things you can do each day, ration soup, choose objectives, make important decisions and send expendable friends out on missions to bring back supplies. The crew have a variety of different feelings so you have to ensure you manage them well in order to survive.

The major drawbacks are that in terms of replayability, too many of the in game events tend to repeat and the humour quickly falls off if played for extended periods. This doesn't mean that the game isn't worth buying or playing, just that I'm old and miserable before my time.

The fun drops off after about 3 games, though you can get more out of it if you break up your times between playing. For a small game, it's cleverly made, enjoyable, and the characters are a good mix. I'd give the game a solid 6/10.
