The first decent fighting game arrived for the Nintendo 64 in the form of Killer Instinct Gold a port of Killer Instinct 2 from arcades. This game was far better than the Mortal Kombat Trilogy so its great that it arrived shortly after otherwise fighting fans would have had a longer wait for a better option.
