A recent article points out that there could be internal problems at Ubisoft and how a "Boys Club" could be inside of the company. This has led to speculation about how XDefiant has been delayed . In addition, we now have a new update regarding a new playtest and how based on that playtest, we will learn of the release date

Additional Context:
Xdefiant has been in development for a while. The game already missed several deadlines, including a Summer 2023 release, and the now officially delayed Q4 2024 release window (January - March 2024). The new fiscal year begins April 2024 (which would be Q1 2025 in their financial report which goes from April - June 2024)
