This is not the kind of video I usually make, but it's really important, and I'm hoping I can use my platform to help my friend out a bit here.
My friend Hellyon White, an illustrator on Twitter who has done work for clients such as the voice actors in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Genshin Impact, Overwatch, etc., has had their account wrongfully suspended by Twitter, likely due to a fraudulent claim. Twitter is the primary method that they use to contact clients, negotiate commissions, etc., and without the platform, they cannot engage with their work and are basically screwed over.
Please take some time to listen to this video and if you can, help by spreading awareness and making some noise about it on Twitter (if you have an account). Automated systems as a whole affect not just a small cadre of artists, but all content creators across multiple social media platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, etc., and these easily-exploited systems are dangerous to creators like Helly or myself.
