A complex compound of cobalt has molecular formula containing five \( \mathrm{NH}_{3} \) molecules, one nitro
(W) group and two chlorine atom for one cobalt atom.
One mole of this compound produces three moles of ion in aqueous solution. On reaction with excess of \( \mathrm{AgNO}_{3} \) solution two moles of \( \mathrm{AgCl} \) get precipitated. The Ionic formula of the compound.
(1) \( \left[\mathrm{Co}\left(\mathrm{NH}_{3}\right)_{4} \mathrm{NO}_{2} \mathrm{Cl} \mathrm{NH}_{3} \mathrm{Cl}\right. \)
(2) \( \left[\mathrm{Co}\left(\mathrm{NH}_{3}\right)_{5} \mathrm{Cl}\right] \mathrm{ClNO}_{2} \)
(3) \( \left[\mathrm{Co}\left(\mathrm{NH}_{3}\right)_{5} \mathrm{NO}_{2}\right] \mathrm{Cl}_{2} \)
(4) \( \left[\mathrm{Co}\left(\mathrm{NH}_{3}\right)_{5}\left(\mathrm{NO}_{2}\right) \mathrm{Cl}\right] \mathrm{Cl} \)
