No Rest for the Wicked is a gorgeous Souls-like trying to push the genre forward with interesting new ideas. Between the beautiful, dark world and the excellent animations and atmosphere, there's also fantastic, chunky combat and plenty of granular character growth to experience. It's a promising start and a highly polished piece of the game, makes me excited to see where it's gonna go. Personally, I think they can make good on their plans to drive the genre to a new venue.
