The developer introduced A Plague Tale: Requiem, a game about the quest to survive in a difficult world plagued by rats and the Inquisition. Requiem is due out on Xbox Series consoles, PS5 and PC sometime in 2022. The project looks promising, but the challenge is to improve on the survival horror formula of the first game without losing the atmosphere that made it special.

A Plague Tale: Requiem will be particularly thrilling thanks to the excellent graphics. Every detail of the game is elaborated, and the soundtracks and the excellent soundtrack complement it.
The protagonist Amicia de Rune talks to an unknown man about her brother Hugo and how to end the story that haunted our heroes in the first game. Fans remember that Hugo is cursed with dark magic directly linked to the plague. Will Amitia have to stop her own brother, whom she says she will "protect with her life?"
Differences from the first game
While the gameplay of A Plague Tale: Innocence was rewarding at best, the game's bleak world, combined with the touching relationship between the de Rune siblings and the allies they befriend, leaves an unforgettable experience. If the sequel's puzzle design and moment-to-moment action prove as interesting as the script and atmosphere, we could be in for something very special. Asobo Studio remains the developer of the project, so let's see what the team has learned.
A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released sometime in 2022 for Xbox Series X / S and PC. It will also be released on day one on Xbox Game Pass. No word yet on whether it will come out on other platforms, but we'll update the story if anything changes on that front.
