About Seagull's State of Overwatch 2
2Hey Guys! Thanks for checking out the video!
This is a section of Friday's stream where I went into a bit of a deep dive into my thoughts on Overwatch 2 so far based on my experience with the "new game" and more importantly Seagull's video he put out.
Overall I think my point is pretty clear, Overwatch 2 is an update to Overwatch 1, and there's no point to reference the difference when it comes to the PVP. Overwatch 2 is the PvE that we have yet to receive.
Also watching Seagull's video made me think if Overwatch was meant to be a Competitive Esport or just a fun PvP mode akin to playing something like Destiny's PvP. Yes you can be competitive, but it isn't the hardcore experience we want.
Let me know your thoughts on this as well, would love to see some other angles to this argument and what it means to you guys in terms of what you want to see for future FPS and Esports in general! :D
