INTRODUCTION:
For 3,000 years the best explorers have tried to desecrate the temple of Abu Simbel. To reach the death chamber is inaccesible, to leave alive is impossible. All who dared enter never returned. But that does no matter because now Johny Jones, our hero, is inside a lost pyramid in the Sahara, stay tuned to see if he can find the exit...

REVIEW:
You control Johny Jones, a very special looking hero, and the aim of the game is very simple – Get to the last room in the pyramid, that is the death chamber!

If you never got the hang of it with the old isometric games from the 80s because you couldn’t figure out where to go and what to do, then this game might be the right one for you. Instead of a lot of doors to choose from in each room, you only have the door you came from and the new door you have to enter. So it is impossible to get lost or go through a wrong door. Basically this game can be compared to a 2D flip screen platform game, just you got the isometric aspect instead of 2D.

You have to avoid enemies and traps, shoot some of the obstacles to destroy them, push and move other obstacles, but it is all kept on a plan so it is possible to figure out what to do. As you proceed you will enter some rooms where it seems absolutely impossible to get out alive, but some very good optical illusions has been used in this game, and the things in the rooms might not be placed as you think they are.

This is a good and straight forward isometric platform game. Not too easy and not too hard, it has the standard controls for an isometric game and plays well. It is made with “3D Game Maker” and therefore there might be some slowdown when there is a lot going on. The graphics is highly detailed and nice looking, and at the intro screen The Bangles “Walk Like an Egyptian” is playing!
