We've all seen the impressive AI upscaling footage from AC/DC Portugal, I try to recreate such effect on a slightly lesser scale manually.

I used 480p footage from the Hippodrome concert and directly scaled it up to 1080p. To cluster pixelgroups together I applied a median in a very light form to smoothen the footage significantly. To reapply texture, I added some grain to the footage. Mixed with my soundboard remaster from 2020 for the best sound possible.

While experimental, I thought this had potential - it will never get near the 4k AI upscale, but for a man made fix, it certainly could've been worse.
