In this video, Edgeworth cross-examines Agent Shi-Long Lang's testimony, about why Franziska von Karma is the murderer. The crux of his argument is the fact that both murder weapons crossed borders that night, and Franziska is one of the few people who have free access to both countries.

Edgeworth looks more closely at this argument. Lang is wrong in saying that only two things crossed borders that night. In reality, three things did. Edgeworth then suggests that the photo of the Yatagarasu is a photo of things crossing the border between the two countries, but he has no evidence to back up his claim at this time. Therefore, to get more evidence, he asks for testimony from Franziska.
