This can be done the easy way or the hard way.
Easy way. Send everything to the titan immediately except the ulfsarks. Have them build the town center and then build up your economy and an army of hersir and throwing axemen.
King Folstag should use his ability to slow the titan. The titan will become unfrozen when King Folstag's ability is roughly 50% charged. Have your heroes, fanatics and frost giants go for the throwing axemen and huskarls. Killing all them will greatly slow down the titan.
The titan will get reinforcements if the first city is destroyed, which you can then pick off with your army. If you don't want this to happen, lure the titan away using folstag as bait to another city, freeze it and then run away.
You can then pick off the titan at your leisure. I like this method as it's quicker and you are more proactive.
Hard way: Can't or won't do the above? The prepare for an exercise in defense. Build your base. While it's being built, send Folstag over to freeze the titan to slow it down and then run away. This will help delay the destruction of the other cities. Wall off the pass to the north west and wall off the south west entrances to your base.
Get your economy up and running, dwarves, villagers and economic upgrades are pivotal. Lay down a barracks and train hersir and throwing axemen. Build a hill fort at the south entrance and try to train a jarl or two.
Use healing spring to help patch up the wounded after each fight. Grab building, units and armory upgrades to help survive. If you can, go to the mythic age. You can then throw down the dwarven mine for 6000 free gold as trading may be difficult to do on this map. Keep building throwing axemen, a few jarls and throw in some myth units.
When the frost giants spawn, send them back to your base to help defend, although one or two may get taken by the traitor god power by the enemy.
As a last ditch effort to survive you can use ragnarok for a strong military force. Once you hold out, the nidhogg arrives and easily slaps down the titan. Once the titan goes down, you win.
