This is a glitch, executed in the seventh level in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back - Air Crash, and allows you to "damage" the game's mechanics for the movement of the Death Route platform. It is similar in style with the camera glitches found in Toad Village, High Time and Bug Lite in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, with the exeption that here, it is not that sophisticated, as the camera continues to follow Crash, instead of the platform and the gameplay is not restricted to its sight, thus remaining normal. To do the glitch, you must have two Aku Aku masks, get to the spot where the third one is and place Crash in a way that when he slides he would hit both the Aku Aku crate and gain invicibility and the edges of the platform. Then the platfrom will convey and freeze off-screen. It can be spotted, however, if Crash stands on a certain spot just a bit ahead of the level. But if he goes too far away and comes back, the Death Route platform will be in its original position.
