Akshita Gorti was playing against IM Stavroula Tsolakidou in the 7th round of the World Juniors 2018. The position was around even and then she moved her queen to c3, keeping her a4 pawn en prise. Both the players were in tremendous time pressure, but Akshita had seen a bit more than her opponent. In the end she used the theme of "The Pinned piece must be attacked until it falls!" A great game by the young American.

Akshita's grandparent's originally hail from the Indian city of Visakhapatnam.
