6If you're wondering why I made a cut in the middle of this video, it's because I took a few minutes to try and see if there was a button to "put away your active item" in the controls. One of the things that tends to annoy me when I watch a Let's Play is when the person playing the game doesn't know how it works, and ends up spending a significant chunk of time looking through menus and help screens. Fun fact: this series has needed some very complex audio adjustments while editing.

Alien: Isolation is a first person survival horror game developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA. Set fifteen years after the events of the original Alien film, the plot centers around Amanda Ripley as she tries to uncover the truth about her mother's disappearance, and ends up facing off against the same terrifying monsters that separated them.
Hope is dangerous. Amanda had long since given up hope that she would find out why her mother never made it back to Earth for her eleventh birthday. But like clockwork, another Weyland-Yutani puppet shows up to pull on its last remaining thread. This time, the usual song-and-dance is a little different: A cargo ship had apparently found the flight recorder of the Nostromo - her mother's ship - and brought it to a freeport station slated for decomission..
