Sooooo.....I had this incurable itch and desire to replay,hands down...one of the BEST flatscreen to VR games in existence as to date(in my humble opinion that is)This game has it all...impressive,jaw dropping visuals,survival horror elements(this game has me in sheer terror in fact)slow buildup of terror also and not just some cheap jump scares...decent voice acting,an iconic beautiful 80s reminiscent soundtrack typical and or exclusive to the classic Ridley Scott's original Alien and Aliens movies etc...game mechanics that is believable and forces you to actually think,plan and execute moves in order to survive,and lastly the game forces you to rely on your senses,especially your hearing...as this amazing title has 3 dimensional,binaural sound etc...you can hear things,above,below etc all around you...anyways,here's my second attempt,but this time I'm trying my hand out on"nightmare difficulty"with a whole slew of mods that not only changes the core AI of the "xenomorph"but makes it more intelligent and unpredictable...you can no longer camp out in one spot like in lockers or vents anymore...you have to keep moving at all times and know when to stay quiet and hidden...this monstrosity will now search for you in vents,airducts...inside lockers etc but at the sametime,it will search everywhere and it's not"tethered"to you at all times(alot of games has this type of script where it constantly knows where you are etc)so there you have it,there are disadvantages but there are also advantages,which makes the game more immersive and realistic,entertaining etc...other mods I've added increases the LOD,shadow maps and enhances the overall graphical fidelity...and last but not least,I've added the performance increase mods,I now can play this game on a Reverb G2...and it looks AMAZING...anyhow,enjoy the video...links to the mods used are provided down below....
