4Hey everyone and welcome to Nocturnal Visit. In this new short PSX horror experience, we play as a blogger who visits an abandoned house in the woods. We're here to prove whether the house is haunted or not as it would make a killer article for his blog. Upon arriving the house, we can't help but wonder if we'll even make it out to tell the tale.

Thanks for watching! I always have an excellent time playing PS1 styled horror games, so it's a little challenging for me to give an unbiased opinion. Having said that, the game does succeed in atmosphere. Given the fact that the entire game is in low poly res, the house is creepy as all hell, and there isn't one moment where you felt like you weren't being watched. The fact that there was no music or cliche soundscapes brought a sense of realism and immersion. As mentioned in the video, this game is really simple, which fit the story really well. The only downside I had was the creature(s) itself. I wasn't so sure if it was ghosts or extraterrestrial. I suppose it's up to the player to create their own narrative. Overall, I thought the game was great. Simple and effective.
