Thanks for watching! This experience completely caught me off guard in so many ways. For one, I had no idea about this game until a day before it's release. When I saw the heavy John Carpenter's inspiration, I was immediately sold. Still Wakes the Deep is a brilliantly crafted creature feature that gives a lot of attention to characters and the relationships with each other. This gives much weight and stakes to the situation. The atmosphere is claustrophobic, with subtle sounds of the rig to give the scene a lot of immersion. Though this may not be the scariest horror game of the year, it is easily the best horror game of the year, with a bar set higher than the tendrils of a cosmic lovecraftian being.
