Historical accounts of how Attila came to be leader of the Huns vary. One popular version is that Attila assassinated his brother Bleda while they were out hunting boars. This is an interpretation about how that event might have gone.

The Boar Hunt was created for my Production class at Rhode Island College. It won a monetary talent award for a film animatic/video.

The piece was first written as a script, then turned into a shot-list. That shot-list was then turned into a storyboard, which is where the images are from. All images were drawn by me, by hand.

I voice both characters. Sound effects are a combination of my own and royalty free sounds drawn from the net.

The music is Galloping Steeds, an instrumental accoustic version, by the band Tengger Cavalry. Excellent band. Please check them out. I found it fitting because the Huns were most likely the Xiong Nu, a turkic-mongolian people pushed out of northern China by the Han Chinese and other tribes, like the famous Mongols.
