Apollo vs Apollo - Theory Craft #26 - Frost Fatalis P.1 - Smite
353Theory:
This build is my standard. Theory crafting this is basically to find where it has its flaws and what you can do to overcome it. The build itself uses Hastened Fatalis and Frostbound as control. You'll have less damage but much better boxing potential in a fight. This build was originally designed to fight other ADCs but with the change of Meta its now a balanced build for control.
Craft:
1. Devour's Gauntlet - Power Item and Lifesteal. Staple item.
2. Hastened Fatalis - Movement item that replaces boots. You will not be getting boots in this build else you waste a slot.
3. Rage - High crit chance that brings your damage online. Once you have this you've pretty much peaked in damage.
4. Frostbound Hammer - This a key item for slowing attack speed and movement speed of the opponent. Even provides HP.
5. Executioner/Titans Bane - Your choice of either pen item. I will be looking more towards Titan's Bane for objective pen.
6. Nemean/Gaia Stone - Defensive item. Keeps you alive.
With my current build I have to consider is the power start worth it? I've seen games where it has severly cost me the entire match and makes it near impossible to catch up. So now we'll be practicing with the tier 2 of Devours Gauntlet
