This is a Glitchless Secrets No Kills Run, where I have to complete the whole of Tomb Raider 3 while only performing mandatory kills, collecting all of the secrets and not using any glitches. In this video I complete Area 51, the third level of the Nevada section and seventh level of the entire game. There was one mandatory kill in this level; a gunman. I was successful with not killing any enemies who didn't need to be killed and therefore my number of kills increases to five. I collected all of the secrets and didn't use any glitches.
Some good timing can enable you to kill the first enemy with the laser at 0:43, which doesn't show as a kill on the statistics. It's vital to not get spotted by the enemy at 2:09 because proceeding through that area without being spotted by that enemy and then getting spotted by the enemy at 2:35 results in the flipmap where you are able to climb straight through the trapdoors at 11:30 and 12:13, saving you from needing to kill a separate enemy who would otherwise be a mandatory kill. Using the prisoner at 4:13 is a good way to get all of the nearby enemies killed without killing them yourself. After the prisoner killed the first 3 enemies I needed to lure him in the direction of the 3 other enemies. I achieved this by shooting him at 6:16, resulting in him running after me as I proceeded towards the 3 other enemies. The game only has room for 5 active characters at once. The presence of the 3 enemies plus the enemies in the previous parts of the level resulted in the prisoner briefly becoming inactive which reversed the aggravation caused by shooting him. I then loitered in the crawlspace at 7:25 while the prisoner killed the 3 enemies. It's in these enemy's AI to only go after you, meaning that there was no risk of them harming the prisoner. Shooting the prisoner like I did at 6:16 is probably the best way to get the prisoner within close distance of those 3 enemies as there would otherwise be difficulties with getting them to cross paths due to the prisoner being focused on the enemies in the previous area and the fact that the prisoner and some (if not all) of the 3 enemies would've likely drifted between being active and inactive since the prisoner and 3 enemies account for 4 characters and the enemies in the previous parts of the level would bring the number of characters to over 5. The mandatory kill came at 13:39 and I used the Desert Eagle to make the kill quick and effective. The area at 15:24 can be a bit of a pain due to there being several enemies as well as multiple lasers which would trigger the machine guns if touched by you. However, I don't think that this part went too badly. The jump at 20:18 onto the spaceship at 20:20 consumes less health than simply dropping down onto the ground. You do need some level of precision though in order to successfully pull off the jump.
