113The stuff I use and how you can make the game run better on your computer.
The command line is put either inside your shortcut target field or on steam you can use the properties - set launch options.
-nosplash -world=empty -maxMem=2047 -winxp -cpuCount=4
-nosplash will make the game skip those intro pictures of Bohemia and will start up the game instantly instead.
-world=empty makes sure when the game starts it doesn't load a world in the background, this makes starting the game a lot quicker.
-maxmem=2047 makes the game us the max amount of memory for smoother gameplay.
-winxp forces the game to use DirectX 9 for quicker alt-tabbing.
-cpuCount=4 makes the game use 4 cores on your cpu, if you have dualcore this should be 2 not 4. Quad=4 Dual=2, if you have a single core you don't have to put anything.

Having an SSD drive makes the game run more smoothly, I bought the SSD specifically to make the game run smoother as it extracts a lot quicker and well, windows run smoother on it as well!
