Lynx Tetsu is a very talented and knowledgeable member of the oldgen Armored Core community and is currently hosting an Armored Core Formula Front League. As one of the participants, this is my first video submission for the first round of fights this month, which will determine the seeding for next month's tournament.

We are playing on a Japanese PS2 version of Formula Front, allowing us to do 5v5 matches, like the ones exhibited in this video. Another community member was also gracious enough to make an English patch using assets from the PSP version, allowing for his to play the game more conveniently.

It is very exciting to see Formula Front popping off in 2025, and I hope this encourages others to pick up and try out the game as well.

AI programming has been a recurring theme in Armored Core games. Master of Arena allowed to make and program your own AC ladder for friends to climb, and Silent Line allowed you to train an AI AC to be your companion in 2v2 Arena and PvP battles. Formula Front is the first time we get to see a more in-depth AI programming until Armored Core Verdict Day, where the system was further refined with the UNACs.
