Game Description
Ashes: Afterglow is a first-person shooter action game that was produced by Vostyok and published on the ZDoom forum. The game is a Total Conversion of Doom II, that is, Ashes: Afterglow is a completely new game created using the "wad" file of Doom II as a base. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic New York. Nuclear explosions devastated the world, turning it to ruins. All world governments no longer exist, and now what reigns in this place is the law of the strongest. With that, Earth has become a home to mutants, bloodthirsty gangs and innocent people looking to survive in the midst of it all. You control a Scavenger, who seeks to find the artifacts of the old world and tries to put food on the table, preferably in one piece. Your mission is simple: try to find a way to escape this hell, even if you have to kill for it.
