Assassin's Creed is INCONSISTENT...
2,695Assassin's Creed over the years has become very inconsistent. With multiple different studios all working on games at the same time and Ubisoft not having a clear structure or plan for the series it's become a bit of a mess. Back when Assassin's Creed first started it was only Ubisoft Montreal led by Patrice Desilets working on these games, which is why the first 3-4 games felt so consistent and continuous. There was improvement and progression in each new game, and on top of all that the stories of all those games were connected. Today it feels like each game is kind of a standalone (with the rare exception of Basim being in Mirage and Valhalla). Not only do the stories rarely connect but a lot of the games fail to build off of what worked in its predecessor...
