HEYA!!!! This cover has been a long time coming. I've wanted to cover this since 2019 when I first created this channel LOL. I'm glad to finally be able to cover this song 5 years later because this game is so special to me. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was one of the games that brought me back into gaming. Before that, while I played almost every mainline Pokemon game, that was pretty much it. I hope you all enjoy ❤️

Thank you so much for your wonderful arrangement :) I did change up a couple things. The introduction has more voices to it now (actually some other parts have more than 2 string voices now), I changed some voicings to fit more to my liking and my bad technique GAHHHH, and the ending has changed to be a viola duet. The piano part has been unchanged, and I also used Musescore audio like usual haha. Also, big inspiration goes to @mmhashbrowns159! I really fell in love with his TONE in his cover of this song. AHHH his playing reminds me why I love the cello soooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a BIG fan!!! I know he hasn't uploaded anything in a while (though I did see him in that epic Agniratha cover recently) but he is an absolute TRUE LEGEND!!!!!!!!!

I'll never forgot this lesson I had with my viola teacher at the time. Out of the blue, she asked me to play or improvise anything I wanted. She was going through her phase of trying to get her students to think more out of the box and try out improvising as a warm up. This lesson was right after I had beaten Torna, so I decided to play Auresco's theme for her. She said that she really loved it actually! She described the melody having this sort of innocent yet wistful feeling, which I found so fitting considering what happens in the story. I was so surprised that someone who has never played this game before could get that feeling. I don't really know what the point of this story is, but it has stuck with me ever since then for some reason. And I wanted to share it with you all xD.

I wanted to wear yellow for Mythra and black for Malos. I wanted to wear red for the melody at the end to signify Pyra, but I couldn't find any red shirts. I ended up just putting a red cloth over my chin rest to show that lol. But AHHH I feel like I didn't do this theme justice 😭. It's hard to cover a song that you have a strong emotional connection with. There are a lot of things I am unsatistfied with for this and I've honestly been withholding uploading this for a bit. I think the last time I felt this bad and hesitant was my Pallet Town cover haha. This past week as been really rough for... numerous amounts of reasons. And I really wanted to make this cover my best one yet ... UGHHHHHHH. It's fine... there has been some good news too :) And I gotta remind myself that everything is a work in progress.
