Makes the game completely playable and essentially doubles your fps. If your using an older graphics card and frame gen is disabled, then this may help! Frame gen ON also lowers frametime significantly.

If you get freeze like I did at the end just don't use afterburner. I relaunched the game and it's been running on HIGH settings for 30min. I think Afterburner is messing with frame gen on older hardware.
