2A rainy day trip to Avebury Neolithic henge monument. A World Heritage Site, it is part of a wider prehistoric landscape in Wiltshire known as Stonehenge, Avebury and Associated Sites. The Avebury WHS includes the West Kennet Long Barrow and Silbury Hill amongst others. It has religious significance for contempory Pagans.
A pretty bad summer we're having here due to the jet stream shifting south :(
