3Here is a full playthrough of the current demo with Black Cat, which is probably my worst performance to date.
Black Cat is probably (for me at least) the worst character in the game. Whilst her moves look cool and she is fun to play, she is very easily outmatched by most of the regular enemies in the game (especially those with shields, and against robots she may as well just surrender) and she is another character who can get knocked down very easily, especially when using her Somersault and even after using her Avenger Power.
I like to joke that 'Black Cat' is just a 'training mode' for the enemies, haha.
One of her special traits is her 'Bad Luck Aura' ability to sort of become immune whilst standing or walking around enemies, however it's so unreliable and you never really know when it will work and when it will not, so you feel like you'd rather just keep on the offense, or simply dodge rather than try to waste time getting this power to work. The game is too fast paced (which is great) for an ability like this to feel viable. Honestly I think it needs to be totally replaced by a new mechanic that is more reliable, though I have yet to think of any solid ideas :( My suggestion for 'bad luck' was something like objects randomly dropping out of the sky on enemies heads when they approach her or something.
We're almost done! Just one more character left and I might suck with him even more than I do Black Cat. It's gonna be a jolly old time... XD
