Byleth ends up getting A LOT more to work with in this series due to the fact that their video was released kind of early on in the ASU series when I wasn't completely confident in adding new units to the game. So, for their ASF rendition of the series, Byleth gets access to Light and Fire Magic in addition to their swords. The way we decided on what magic types a unit from 3H gets is pretty much based on their spell list and which ones they have. To make things fair, I decided to say that if the unit isn't a "pure" magic class (meaning they only use magic), they don't get the SS boost for the magic that they can use. So, Byleth only has the SS boost in Swords. Byleth also gets something for their Battalion Desperation (translates to Cancel here), which is something I skipped over last time because I wasn't too sure what to translate it to. As well as various stat boosts from some other skills that they have, including Rally Movement (+3 Lck), Crest of Flames (Renewal/+5 Lck/+2 Str/Mag), and a second Vantage skill (+7 Lck) that they get as a playable unit in the Cindered Shadows DLC maps. Since I am taking enemy/boss skills for the other 3H units, it felt a little unfair that Byleth didn't get anything because they never show up as an enemy in the game. They also get something for the budding talent from their White Magic, which gives them +20 avoid (Vigilance) whenever they are using Light magic. This makes them quite the avoidy unit when you consider that, and their new set of stats has a lot more Lck now. So, with all of that, they end up with some good offensive stats and decent speed/avoid alongside very good initiation with all of the Lck boosts that they got from the skills. This, paired with Cancel and Vantage, gives him plenty of opportunities to just say "no" to the enemy attacks. When they initiate, they can Cancel the enemy attacks, and while Cancel can't proc when countering, if the unit is low enough from the first battle, they can just Vantage to finish them off before they get a chance to attack. The only real thing that is kind of a weak point for Byleth is that they are kind of frail at the end of the day, and without access to Nihil, which I removed because it was kind of a wishy-washy translation that I did in ASU, it doesn't take too much to knock them out. [Side note, the final end screen highlighted units are incorrect and the final Wins/Losses are 62 and 22, sorry about that!]
