Awesomeside 2 - How the X-Squad Saved The Crown
582As dusk blended the soft warmth of the Indar day into the cool, clear Indar night, the Terran Republic's assault tightened an already firm grip on the New Conglomerate's base, The Crown.
Situated in the middle of the continent, The Crown is an important and fiercely contested region on Indar. The tower in the middle of The Crown can spawn aerial vehicles for quick deployment anywhere, and the anti-air turrets on that same tower protect a large region of the sky.
The Crown also enables access to 4 other bases, each in a different direction, allowing for many strategic advantages to be pressed. Indeed, The Crown is a base worth holding.
The New Conglomerate (that's our team) were outnumbered and struggling to delay the Terran Republic's seemingly inevitable capture of this important location. The fight was drawing on, and the TR were minutes from achieving their goal of taking The Crown from the NC.
But then, the X-Squad arrived, ready to determine what needed to be done, and do it.
