Axiom Verge 2 is a good game, but it feels like a different game from Axiom Verge 1. The controls are the same, the graphics are similar. But the game feels now more like Fantasy instead of Sci-Fi. Don't get me wrong, i do intend to play through the whole game. since it's really well done.
So what is the game about. Axion Verge 2 is a Metroidvania like Platformer/Adventure game with RPG elements. You make your way through the big maze, this whole world is and find new abilities, that you let traverse path, that you couldn't overcome before and this way you get more freedom to go where you like, but it also gets more compley this way.
You can attack the enemies with your Melee Weapon or a Slow Ranged weapon, but you can also Hack the enemy to give it a Debuff or even make it your ally.
On your way your way you find also NPC that you can talk to which gives you informations or even a task that you should do, to progress the story.
