0An issue of self perception without filters emerges when one can see their own foundation but is unable to accept the full scope of it.
Thus, the path of presentation tangles upon itself to protect one from the truth of who they are.
This inherently changes the surface, but in turn the foundation is maintained in it's current state.
to force both observation and foundational stability is to put someone through immense psychological torture beyond any reasonable means.
Thus, I don't want other people recklessly choosing to go through it.
(And that's one of the reasons why I choose to sleep while awake, so as to not wear/polish my sense of self away in the face of reality.)
(To dream while living awake instead of seeing the truth at all times is to prevent insanity and detachment from warping perception upon reality to the point that it breaks a person's moral code.)
