Trying to stablize my game before I start a new campaign.
1000 units on screen with settings maxed out runs perfectly fine fps wise, but after a little bit the game will randomly freeze in mid battle resulting in me having to alt f4.

I've attempted to reduce the number of units down as well as lowering ragdoll and number of corpses setting to the lowest they can go.
