Have you ever once asked yourself this question?

Well, the answer is in BF242 mod!
A mod that replicates BF2 in the Refractor 1.0 engine and it does it in such magnificient way that shows..a concept, an alternate universe where BF2 would have been if it was released in 2002..

Everything that BF242 mod does here its excellent, it is almost similar to BF2 in every way

Starting with the maps, you get only 5 from the original game,Operation Road rage, Strike at karkand, operation Harvest, dalian plant and midnight sun.
i was a little dissapointed to not see Gulf of Oman or Mashtuur city or more maps here but its okay.
Gameplay wise, its identical to the original BF2 gameplay flow, all the Team kits are available and you get 3 factions, USMC, MEC and PLA
one issue that i found while playing the mod is how often random sounds will cut out during the heat of the battle such as Gunfire, radio calls
and voicelines, other than that, no more issues we're seen.
