The famed Mechwarrior mercenary company Australian Armed Forces are contracted to help turn the tide in the Aurigan civil war and reclaim the throne for Lady Kamea Arano. Or at least reclaim a fair amount of money for us.
I've just had hand surgery and it'll be a month or 2 before I can play anything that requires 2 hands so I figured that was a good excuse to start a Battletech series. I'm playing with quite a few self made mods to the weapon files; lasers add small amounts of heat damage, flamers do more heat damage, I've added variants of weapons that are lighter, generate less heat on firing, added a ppc with a high disruption but low damage etc. It's the first time I've tested these mods in a long term scenario so it might be horribly unbalanced but it'll be fun finding out.
