An article in the Corriere della Sera on Sunday 11 05 25 relaunches and underlines again, the fact that there is a broken glass between the Engine Room and the Control Room.
The type of damage and in particular the bend in the glass towards the Control Room, would show how the Engine Room was completely filled with water. This would suggest a significant ingress of water...
Water ingress due to what? A previous technical failure, or the presence of an open external hatch?
