beating no mercy on realism expert with only dual pistols
disclaimer: this is by no means meant to be a "professional" run of any sort, i was just doing this for fun (and to do it again without getting mad and using binds to kick special infected)
my friends were playing halo reach in the background while i was just doing this
the first time i did this i got fed up and used binds to kick special infected, but this footage is from when i did it again without doing that and with better strategies, and a clearer head
yes the tank's rock is glowing, this mod is called "tank rock hint" and it turns green whenever the rock is close enough that it can be destroyed with a shotgun blast. this hardly influenced the run aside from making the rock easier to see, hence why this isn't a "professional" run because it wouldn't even qualify as one. additionally I have a mod of my own that makes it so you can shove infinitely like in left 4 dead 1, because IMO the shove cooldown in left 4 dead 2 is a stupid idea. last but not least, i'm using a mod called "improved bot a.i." which makes the bots smarter overall and allows me to command them sometimes, as well as another mod called "take bot item" which lets me take any items they pick up since i can use them better. rest assured, the bots were still extremely stupid at times, and no substitute for human players. they definitely made this run a little bit easier, though.
"what mod do you have for the dual pistols to make them m1911s", one of my own as well: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2300984111
anyway glad this run went better, i included the credits as more proof that i only used the dualies during the whole campaign (notice how I don't even have a primary weapon, indicating i never picked one up). i'll be waiting for the credits song to get copyright claimed.
