BEAUTIFUL BUT NEEDS WORK! Journey (PC) Part 1

This PC port of Journey is absolutely stunning but I can't make it past the 2nd area. The game slows to 0 fps and then crashes every time I make it there. This game definitely needs a patch. I blow the recommended specs out of the water for this game so it's definitely not my setup that's the problem.
