Beewolves Fans,
The team has had a very successful home stand, but it did not come easy! The New York Wideloads came to town and really put a scare into the 'Wolves. If not for the heroic efforts of of the stalwart third baseman the 'Wolves would have found themselves on the wrong side of that game. Bertha Banks bat woke up and gave the Phoenix fans something to cheer for! After a string of victories that featured "small ball" baseball, Red Rock was a ROCKIN' The 2 teams combined for a total of 6 home runs in this game. The Beewolves were the recipient of the lion share with 5, and Banks contributed 3 of those. The Beewolves let the fans know that the big bats were still alive before they left town!
Tonight the Beewolves will lock up with the San Diego Moonstars for the first of two this season. San Diego is lookin to make up some space on the first place Saw Teeth, while the Beewolves have the Nemesis breathing down their necks, just waiting for the Wolves to slip up so they can jump into 1st place. Both Teams have a lot to play for.
