The Series Sherlock Holmes won big at the TV Baftas this weekend- the British equivalent to the Emmys- and now we've found out that not one, but both of the main characters on the British drama will also be starring together in the highly anticipated Peter Jackson's The Hobbit.
Martin Freeman, who's set to play the title role of Bilbo Baggins, let it slip backstage that his Sherlock co-star Benedict Cumberbatch will also be in the epic movie! Details are still unknown as both quickly went radio silent after the mistake announcement. Oops.
While Cumberbatch is a well-known star across the pond, for those of us here, you may recognize him from roles as Scarlett Johansson's husband in The Other Boleyn Girl or as the man who did the crime James McAvoy's character was accused of in the Oscar-winning Atonement.
Not ringing a bell? Well, we're sure to now more of both Freeman and Cumberbatch when The Hobbit: Part 1 is released in December this year.
